About Shardjoy

Shardjoy is a small, independently run guide to free wolf games on Google Play, split across two hubs — open-range simulation and evolution, and calm grid puzzles.

The site is written and maintained by one person, Eleni Papadopoulos, working from Melbourne, Victoria. There is no editorial team, no newsroom, and no outside investors behind Shardjoy — just one reviewer who plays each game directly before writing anything about it.

The idea behind the site is fairly simple: wolf-themed mobile games are a genuinely large, growing part of Google Play, and most coverage of them is either an app-store description reworded slightly, or nothing at all. Shardjoy exists to fill that gap with honest, specific write-ups — what a game actually does in its first half hour, where it genuinely drags, and who it's realistically a good fit for.

Every review states plainly whether a game carries a Google Play rating at the time of writing, and quotes that number as it stood on the Australian storefront rather than adjusting it. The separate editorial score shown throughout the site is this reviewer's own opinion, nothing more — it isn't presented as a community average or a lab result, because it isn't one.

Shardjoy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any of the developers or studios whose games are reviewed here, nor with Google LLC or Google Play. Game names, icons and screenshots remain the property of their respective developers and are used here for editorial commentary and identification.

The catalogue stays deliberately small and curated rather than trying to cover every wolf game that appears on Google Play. A title needs real wolves on screen, calm or non-aggressive framing, and an active current listing before it gets added — details on that process are on the home page under "How we rate games."
